YouTube This film marked a significant milestone for me—it was the first project I collaborated on with members of the prestigious Howard University Film Department. Bright-eyed and new to both the camera and the campus, I dove into this experience with excitement. It was also a monumental first for me as an actor, as I had the opportunity to play a biographical role.

“CJ,” the renowned AV/Equipment Professor and overseer of the Camera Cage, was the man I was graciously entrusted to embody. Meeting him, studying his speech patterns, and, most importantly, observing how his students interacted with him, gave me invaluable insight into the character.

I had an incredible time bringing “CJ” to life, and Victoria Greer’s masterful writing made the process even more rewarding—it leapt right off the page! I look forward to collaborating with her again in the future. Special thanks to the wonderful and talented Tymetrias Bolden; it was an honor to work alongside her.
